Until this day, the real explanation of emotional arousals remained a mystery. According to the majority of researchers, however, there is a high association between a person's personal condition changes and a subsequent rise in emotional arousal. People they interviewed say that people equate the current situation with past circumstances, and when the amount of current stimulus far exceeds the amount of past stimulation to which they have become accustomed, they feel emotional arousal. This is a modern discipline in knowledge: emotional intelligence (EI). The emotional competency encompassed by the word "philosophically" can be characterized as the ability to recognize and convey emotions, the capacity to comprehend emotions, the ability to assimilate emotions into thought, and the capacity to govern emotions within oneself and in others. EI-based coping skills mastery requires learning how to apply EI in real life.

About Course
Unfortunately, there is hardly any literature on the effect of emotional disturbance on our perception. A little thinking, however, reveals that humans perceive objects at two levels: sensory level and interpretation level. Hopefully, percepts at sensory level are not disturbed by emotional bias, but interpretation of the percepts at higher thought processing level suffers because of emotional disturbances. Coping Skill Mastery trains you with an ability to safeguard human mind to remain resilient from emotions and arriving at an unadulterated perception level.
